How BBS handles information when you browse, request help, or buy equipment. Updated September 26, 2026.

Information you provide

Battery Backup Solutions LLC receives the contact, company, delivery and equipment details you submit with quote requests, purchases, support cases and other inquiries. Support cases may include files or photographs you choose to provide. Studio stores account and saved-project information when you use those features. Please leave payment-card numbers, passwords and other sensitive information out of free-text fields and attachments.

How we use it

We use this information to prepare quotes, process and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, respond to questions, provide warranty and service support, and maintain business records. Technical request information and security logs help us keep the site working, prevent abuse and investigate errors.

Service providers

Providers that operate hosting, storage, email, payments, security and site-performance tools process information needed for those functions. These include Cloudflare for website and application infrastructure, Stripe for checkout and payment processing, and our email delivery provider. Delivery and service partners receive the details needed to carry out the work you request. A quote or support request may generate an internal notification to the BBS team.

Payment-card entry occurs through Stripe's checkout. BBS receives payment status and order information; our storefront does not ask you to put a full card number or security code in a BBS form.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses cookies and browser storage for sessions, security, shopping-cart contents, preferences and Studio features. The quote form keeps a temporary draft and retry information in your current browser tab so a failed request does not erase your work or create duplicate requests. Closing the tab clears that session storage; clearing site data also removes saved local information and may sign you out. Site-performance tools may receive page, device and connection information.

Website analytics

When website analytics is enabled, BBS uses Plausible to measure visits to public pages, aggregate visit duration and scroll depth, and counts of successfully completed requests and signups. These statistics help us understand which pages are useful. Our analytics integration excludes URL query strings, private access tokens and customer form contents, and does not capture browsing-session recordings or keystrokes.

Plausible does not use analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. It processes connection information to count daily visitors and estimate location; Plausible states that it does not store raw IP addresses or raw browser User-Agent strings. See Plausible's data policy.

Saved projects and links

Treat project-sharing links and order or case access links as private. Only share them with people you intend to have access. External websites and embedded services operate under their own privacy notices.

Keeping and managing records

Order, quote and support records support fulfillment, warranty service, accounting, security and dispute resolution. Retention depends on the record and applicable obligations. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information about you. We may need to verify your identity and retain records needed for outstanding transactions, security or legal requirements.
